Faculty of Arts & Science Arts & Science Internship Program (ASIP)

ASIP offers eligible Arts & Science students a chance to combine 12 to 20 months of paid work experience with specialized career development training and networking opportunities.

  • Complete one or two full-time, paid work terms (12, 16 or 20 months total)
  • Gain professional skills through career-readiness courses, networking and industry mentorship
  • Access a dedicated internship team, co-op job board, exclusive events and peer support networks

Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering Professional Experience Year (PEY) Co-op

PEY Co-op gives Engineering students the opportunity to gain up to 20 months of paid work experience, usually through a 12 to 16-month term after third year and an optional 4-month term after second year.

  • Access 3,500+ positions with top employers like IBM, Honda, Shell and more
  • Build career skills through professional development modules and coaching
  • Earn a competitive salary and get a head start toward your P.Eng. designation

°®ÒºAƬ Mississauga UTM Co-op Internship Program (UTMCIP)

UTMCIP offers eligible UTM students a flexible, paid work experience connected to their field of study, typically completed over five years.

  • Complete a 12- or 16-month full-time work term with work-readiness training
  • Receive dedicated support before and during your placement
  • Graduate with a co-op designation on your transcript
